Your big day: six tablescaping trends to look out for in 2023
Your wedding day is such a big event, and you'll want the table to really look it's...
Here at Your North East Wedding we often get sent in questions from brides and grooms regarding their wedding day. Here's one such question from Newcastle bride-to-be Aimee…
We're looking for an exclusive wedding venue with history behind it but don't have the budget (or guest list!) to hire out a massive stately home. What other venue do you suggest?
Dave Milbourne from The Old Town Hall Newburn says: "The idea of creating you own personal wedding unique to you is something which adds even more to your special day.
"There are a number of smaller venues around which offer the opportunity to have a totally bespoke event. The Old Town Hall Newburn is beautiful Grade 2 listed property built in 1904, which offers a truly intimate and unique wedding venue. Our main room features oak panelled walls, oak flooring and corniced ceilings, and can accommodate up to 60 guests for a formal meal – and up to 100 for a less formal event.
"The refurbishment of the Old Town Hall was completed in October 2016 and we are delighted be able to offer this truly wonderful venue for your special day. Many venues control most aspects of your event, which can be more expensive for you. We allow you to create your own unique and personal event, decorating and personalising the rooms yourself for an event you will always remember.
"There are four rooms including the main room which can be configured just for you, making this totally unique – and one which will help you have the greatest day of your lives."
