As the wedding industry looks ahead - following the planned roadmap back to full wedding numbers in June – this summer certainly looks set to be the summer of love with more pre-booked and rescheduled weddings than ever.

Flowers have long been an integral part of any wedding, they deliver emotional messages, are romantic and passionate and a way for couples to express themselves. For big-day blooms, the ever-growing wedding flower trend is: go large and deluxe! Basically, the smaller the guestlist, the more decadent and grander the flowers.

Go bold with a bright palette of pink and green florals, add bright yellow roses and vibrant gelda viburnum. Go pale and pastel with pussy willow, seasonal eucalyptus foliage and subdued delphiniums.

Ronny Colbie's love of flowers is the driving point behind his creations, and his passion for floristry has taken him around the world, leading him to create weddings for high profile clients such as Millie Mackintosh, Eddie Redmayne, David Gandy and Zoe Saldana.

Ronny and his team work with many private clients in private residences as well as working with some of the most prestigious venues right now such as The Connaught, Four Seasons, The Grove, The Asylum and One Marylebone; working alongside some of the UK's leading event planners and caterers and is busy planning a phenomenal wedding for a Marketing Head at NBC Universal.

Ronny and his team have been responsible for some of the most exclusive weddings and is dedicated to going above and beyond to make the day special, be it extravagant flower walls, breathtaking floral arches or centrepieces and bouquets. Most weekends you could find him hanging off the top of a marquee pole or building flower arches around entire church entrances.

"To me flowers are extremely personal, and it is not only their visual beauty which leads people to appreciate them, but also their scent which stirs up our memories and recollections. The fragrance of flowers draws deep parallels with fine fragrance as they both evoke emotions and perhaps why one has naturally led to the other." - Ronny Colbie

Ronny is offering a precious gift of £2,500 worth of flowers for an Instagram competition.
