Think about the metal you would like and whether it matches an existing ring or is a stand-alone piece – all the precious metals have varying price points and differing hard-wearing properties.'

"If you work in industry and only a simple wedding band without any stones is allowed – there are still plenty of options to consider such as engraving and hammering effects to make the item completely special. Wedding rings can also be shaped specifically to fit around an engagement ring – the options are endless.
"For those wearing one for the first time, we suggest trying on different ring samples to figure out which width feels right and then moving on to select the ring profile, and then finally the finish. With regards to fit, you should struggle a little to get the ring back over the knuckle joint otherwise it will fall off when your hands are cold.
