Webster's Ropery is a unique 18th-century Grade II listed wedding venue that was once the world's largest rope house. Set on the bank of the River Wear, it has a large outside space with seating and exceptional views over the river. Sensitively decorated and tastefully restored, it retains the building's original beams, exposed brickwork and stonework, along with its brass handrails and open fireplace.
Located in Gateshead, the Rivers Hotel is a 28-bedroom boutique wedding venue space with an American diner and bar and a newly refurbished function suite. A hidden gem situated on the banks of the River Tyne, the hotel's outside decked area is the perfect spot for a picturesque drinks reception.
