The Bowes Museum’s grounds offer plenty of stunning photo opportunities, set in acres of beautiful parkland, stepping out of the Museum’s south facing entrance, a terrace leads to a formal parterre garden below. There are trees from around the world in the surrounding woodland, as well as picnic and play areas within the grounds.
