These exclusive looks are available from today in Your North East Wedding's September/October issue. We were so pleased with them we wanted to share them online with you, too, along with a little extra advice for you online readers!

Here are a few top tips from some of Northumberland's finest wedding suppliers

"Look for venues that you can stamp with your own style. Forget what tradition dictates and think about what and who is truly important to you; if 100 guests and a formal dinner isn't your idea of what a wedding should be then rewrite the rules and do it your way. Use a photographer you have a great vibe with you'll be spending as much time with them on your wedding day as you will your new spouse! Finally, use local suppliers, meeting them and talking through your vision to create something amazing!"

"Always have a Plan B, and embrace the weather and the wind-swept look and have plenty of pegs to tie down furniture pieces. If you are brave enough to have a ceremony or reception on the beach the images and memories will be stunning just make sure you are prepared for all weathers and that guesst know they will be on the beach for some or all of your day, so they can be prepared.
"Theme-wise, natural colours always look stunning, allowing certain aspects to stand out, whether it be the flowers which bring the colour or the fabrics used in clothing and accessories."

"I'd suggest getting out there to find the most beautiful backdrop amongst all of the stunning scenery we have in the North East. We're so lucky to have so many gorgeous places on our doorstep, whether it's long, sandy beaches or leafy green woodlands, we're spoiled for choice. When it comes to choosing your professionals, it's all about the passion, so choose people who really love what they do and it'll shine through on the big day.

"I would highly recommend that the couples do plenty of research about the area and how a venue/location would best work for their theme. Social media platforms, such as Instagram and Facebook, are a great way for couples to research local suppliers, and see up close pictures of the work that have been done. This is a great way to find suppliers to create that bespoke look they are striving to achieve."

"My top tip to recreate this stationery look would be, don't be afraid to mix and match bold colours. This can also be incorporated with the use of different coloured card for extra inserts, such as information and menu cards. Also, try matching the floral design to your choice of flowers for the big day, which ties everything nicely together."
