St Mary’s Inn... a must-visit big-day venue

Nestled within the Northumberland countryside, St Mary's Inn is located off the windy country roads near Stannington, Morpeth. The inn boasts a sunny terrace which can be booked for barbecues and drinks receptions, the perfect intimate summer wedding location!This relaxed pub, set within the site of the old St Mary's Inn Hospital, keeps the original structure of the building and features the old clock tower at its centre point St Mary's was renovated keeping the traditional features in mind.

The interior is cosy and quirky, with lots of rustic features including wooden beams, feature log fireplaces and cosy snug corners where you can relax. The pub boasts a bar, relaxed restaurant, two private dining rooms with stacked logs and log burner as the feature. Licensed for ceremonies in both of private dining rooms couples have the choice of The Kendall Room with sunny windows holding up to 34 guests, and The Hine Room with log burning stove and stacked wooden logs can hold up to 25 guests.Receptions can take place in the Kendall Room serving meals for up to 36 guests or receptions and dancing for up to 50 guests. The Hine Room can hold up to 25 guests for dining around one long wooden table.

When tying the knot here couples can enjoy a complimentary wedding menu tasting and meeting with the head chef to create your bespoke menu. There's also 11 bedrooms at the inn and an internal courtyard.
