Jesmond Dene House is a Grade II listed boutique hotel set within the leafy suburb of Jesmond. Surrounded by Jesmond Dene, a vast woodland with waterfalls and quaint bridges, you feel a thousand miles away, yet minutes from the city centre. The grounds consist of colourful gardens and a sunny terrace. The new Secret Garden is nestled at the bottom of the grounds and boasts a private bar and barbecue area with festoon lighting. With a grand stone exterior, pointed rooftops and turret like chimneys, the unique building built by John Dobson dates back to the early 1800s. The interior is a mix of traditional features, with wood panelling, oak ceilings and feature fireplaces, mixed with a modern, chic, yet homely feel.

Couples can say 'I do' in The Great Hall, a wood-panelled room with feature fireplace and ceiling height windows. Up to 130 friends and family can join you for the nuptials. Alternatively, The John Dobson Room boasts a terrace overlooking the dene and is ideal for 30 guests, while The Norman Shaw Room, The Frank Rich Room and The Secret Garden can host 20, 12 and 100 guests respectively.
