Newbrough Town Hall is a beautiful 19th-century stone building that features high ceilings with pitched glazing to create light and airy spaces for wedding receptions. The Grade I listed building is situated on the main road giving ample on-street parking, perfect for guests travelling to the wedding.
The venue has a fully fitted catering kitchen, a stage for entertainment, a lounge area, fully stocked bar and a gallery that runs the full length of the hall with views over the courtyard – this is often where a buffet can be placed.
Receptions can either occur in the main hall where up to 90 people can be comfortably seated or the separate lounge area for 30 guests. The courtyard is the perfect place for outdoor catering or relaxing with picnic tables and benches.
The Newbrough Bunk House is located in an adjacent building with three dormitory rooms that can sleep up to 22 people in total – it’s the perfect retreat after dancing the night away.
Please note that the venue doesn’t have a ceremony licence, but the Hexham Register Office is located only six miles away.
