The outdoor spaces showcase the very best the Northumbrian countryside has to offer. The 18th-century stately home features a stone exterior with climbing ivy, luscious lawns, peaceful streams, mini-waterfalls and enchanted woodlands – every photographers’ dream.

Exchange vows in The Ceremony Room (110 people), a rich wooden panelled space steeped in tradition with a hand-carved dramatic fireplace and views out onto the lawns. For 140 guests, the lawns give couples a beautiful panoramic backdrop for their wedding ceremony and photographs. Or why not say ‘I do’ in The Chapel, which is a bright space that can be personalised for couples to add their stamp on the day? This space is excellent for evening receptions with the period windows, first-floor viewing platform and a showstopper fireplace – this space offers couples the complete package.

We love... that the venue includes accommodation for the wedding night and day before as part of the Ellingham Hall’s experience. This sleeps 33 people on-site and includes food the evening before and breakfast both mornings of the stay.
