Before I Do - the honeymoon must-have, you won't put it down!
Here at County Wedding Magazines HQ we do love a good book to get our teeth into - not...
Surrounded by local history and the remains of Newcastle Castle and the Black Gate, The Vermont Hotel showcases period features and architectural grandeur of the 1920s era. The impressive structure proudly overlooks Newcastle’s quayside, it’s a classic building with incredible renovations and modernisations in parts. The interior boasts lots of mirrored pillars, luxurious soft furnishings, heavy drapes and crystal chandeliers.
Ceremonies and receptions take place in three locations at the venue. The lavish Gold room is for 120 people and is perfect for a glamourous 1920s-style wedding. Or say ‘I do’ in the Ballrom with 120 day guests and 200 evening attendees. The Grade II listed space was once The County of Northumberland Council Chambers and features breathtaking high ceilings and pillars, with oak-panelled walls and beautiful bespoke Art Deco windows depicting The Heritage of Newcastle’s industries.
For more intimate weddings, the Sky Lounge (80) is a beautiful indoor setting that opens onto an outdoor roof terrace – the ultimate city wedding experience for couples and their guests. This space is not available for banquet-style dining unlike the rest.
We love…
Couples will receive a complimentary menu tasting session, overnight accommodation on the wedding night and a first year anniversary meal in the restaurant.
