Find out why Bannatyne Hotel Darlington is our venue of the week: Image 1 Bannatyne Hotel is a charming Grade II listed townhouse situated in the fashionable West End of Darlington. Here couples will fi nd a romantically-lit terrace to the front, and large private garden to the rear, complemented by a cosy pavilion, allowing for outdoor ceremonies. 

The grounds provide a beautiful sun-trap on warm days, and allow for wedding ceremonies of up to 100 loved ones while the Wilbur Suite is a stylish and modern space for up to 120 guests.

For a more intimate setting, The Study is a warm and inviting private suite ideal for up to 20 guests. Or, why not exchange vows in Maxine’s Restaurant? This is a picture-perfect setting with large Georgian windows framing the hotel grounds, which can accommodate up to 80 guests for ceremonies. This space can also be used for a wedding breakfast of up to 55 members, with ornate features and décor to beautifully enhance those all-important photographs. 

For larger weddings, the Wilbur Suite can seat up to 120 people, offering a light and airy setting, terrace views, private bar and dancefl oor.
This boutique hotel offers a quirky mix of traditional original features, with modern space and lighting, providing a beautiful setting. The Bridal Suite has a dramatic four poster bed and roll top bath, which is included free of charge for the night of the wedding.

A complimentary menu tasting is also offered in the lead-up to the big day as well as a 12 month Health Club membership that completes these enviable packages.
