This tropical haven is perfect for weddings in Sunderland

This tropical haven is perfect for weddings in Sunderland: Image 1 Break free from the city with The Palm, a palm tree-filled tropical garden hotspot, which is perfect for outdoor ceremonies and celebrations.
Claim a place in the sun with the venue’s beautiful mix ‘n’ match choice of options to hold a celebration or ceremony. With five ceremony options, four funky wedding breakfast set-ups and three amazing evening reception spaces – the opportunities are endless from laid-back beach interiors, to cosy log cabins or flamboyant and exotic interiors!

The brightly lit premises will wow guests with its dramatic palm tree-lined paths, huge torch flames and large archways, which feel like an exotic holiday destination with its tropical oasis theme. Get cosy around the firepits with comfortable seating, have fun, play games and dance the night away under the strings of stylish festoon lighting.

Ceremonies take place in multiple spaces at The Palm. The Pineapple Cove is a laid-back shipwrecked tropical beach for 60 loved ones. At the same time, The Tropicuba is full of carnival flavours and inspired by the richly coloured streets of Havana with a pink and blue colour palette. The location can be enjoyed by 110 nearest and dearest. Another option is The Garden with palm trees and firepits, which provide the ideal backdrop for a ceremony under the sky, then continue the celebrations with the venue’s very own street food shacks in tropical surroundings in The Garden with
70 people.

Alternatively, why not opt for the Liberty Brown with 100 guests, with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open straight onto the botanical terrace with views of The Northern Spire Bridge? The Wildernest treehouse can host 60 for the wedding breakfast and is a storybook retreat that’s unlike any other. The only thing to expect is the unexpected. The ski-lodge-esque area is a cosy area filled with fire, and faux fur throw strewn across wooden seats and benches. Other reception spaces include the Pineapple Cove (40), Tropicuba (80) and Liberty Brown (100). Loved ones can then dance the night in the Tropicuba for up to 200 guests.

We Love...
The venue can offer prosecco or beer pong, photo booth or shuffleboard hire, giant confetti cannons, firepits and has a late 2 am licence!
