There are not many magicians that can say they’ve pickpocketed three prime minister’s watches, vanished the Beckham’s jewellery, floated money for the Minogue sisters, baffled Prince William and Harry with card tricks, sawn of Tom Jones’ arm and read the mind of the late David Bowie – but then Paul Lytton is one of the UK’s most sought after magicians.
He says: "I started magic when I was 14; I went to the library to get a book on computers but found one on magic – I put the computer book straight back!
"I'm very lucky to be doing what I'm doing, magic has taken me all over the world. My favourite events to perform at are weddings, and since I'm still based in Newcastle, I'm still affiliated with all the top venues, which means I get invited to entertain at many weddings."
