"I named the shop after my late grandma, Rosa," explains owner Susanne Shah. "My grandparents met just after the war, and were married on 1st June, 1946. As you can see from the photo it was an amazing day, which would have been hard to arrange with rationing in full swing. My grandad also suffered life-changing injuries when he was caught in a bomb blast while serving, but my grandma's love for him was unconditional. Her name was therefore the perfect choice when I opened my boutique in September. That – and the number of the building. My grandparents lived their entire married life at number 31, so when I saw the shop had the same number I took it to be the ultimate sign!"
