Planning a Hen Do? Here are 6 ways to do it on a budget
With wedding traditions dying fast, modern couples are truly setting the bar for what's...
Following on from last week's news that Newton Hall offers beach weddings, we're excited to reveal it also has a new indoor space to tie the knot!
Newton Hall, an 18th century mansion situated on the Northumberland coastline, is now offering its Enchanted Chapel for wedding ceremonies.
Stories of a hidden glamorous and palatial chapel somewhere in the building have been spoken about for years, but no one had ever seen it, or even knew where it was located. However, earlier this summer, during routine works a room was uncovered, hidden from sight with overgrown plants and vines. Could this be the Chapel?
In honour of the folklore that surrounds this magnificent building, Newton Hall set about restoring the room and are currently in the process of creating a magical space to be used for weddings, ceremonies and celebrations later on this year.
As the name suggests the Chapel is truly enchanting. The plants and vines that kept it hidden for so long have been cut back to create the most luscious indoor garden, complemented by a stunning waterfall adjacent to the alter cascading down ancient rocks and enormous floor-to-ceiling glass doors, which, when opened, make the Chapel and water one.
The Chapel will provide an amazing place to enjoy your special day indoors, whilst enjoying a very unique connection to nature. With seating for up to 160 guests, the most sumptuous furnishings and beautiful ornate lighting, Newton Hall promises to be the most romantic and splendiferous wedding venue in the UK.
