Anna and Timmy’s love of skiing brought them together Images courtesy of Daryl Scott Walker Anna and Timmy met during a ski season in Val d’Isère. “Timmy worked in the best seasonaire bar in town, The Fall Line, while I was working in a chalet,” says Anna. “After that we headed to the seas and worked on a superyacht together for a Russian oligarch. Our love for the mountains and sea is where it all began!” Timmy popped the question after the couple had been together for seven years. “We both love the Lake District, so Timmy asked me to marry him by a tarn at the top of a mountain with no one else around,” continues the bride. “It also happens to be our favourite walk in the Lakes – because there’s a great pub to grab a drink in at the end of the route!” The couple set the date of 30 July, 2022, marrying at the Church of St Andrew in Bolam, followed by a field marquee reception.
