This was a new location for me to shoot and featured a beach with these stunning views and dramatic waves. Darren says: Depth of field images really capture my eye and I love placing everyday objects or natural surroundings in my frame – this image captures just that. Shot in the private dining room with natural lighting, tropical flamingo wallpaper, a rustic chair in the foreground and the brides simple but beautiful look completed the image perfectly. www.sem sphotography.com Serena says: This photo is one of my favourites because it captured the happy and laughing bride waiting for her new husband to join her for a few photos. I couldn’t resist taking this shot because her shoe was caught in a grid and she was laughing because she couldn’t move it without possibly breaking the heel – the groom had to dive under her dress to help. I loved making the flowers pop with the antique photo cover. www.djm photography.co.uk Darren says: I love pushing my clients’ comfort zone and taking them to the beach as golden-hour sets in. Here the bride’s perched on some driftwood to showcase the beautiful lines of her sleek, smooth dress with just a touch of lens flare to create that elegant and dramatic shot. www.sem sphotography.com SEM’S PHOTOGRAPHY Serena Nicholls says: This couple wanted to create some fun photos, and this one in particular was my favourite. The pair were laughing and joking around outside their room when the bride suddenly decided she wanted to pin the groom, which had them both laughing as it was so out of character of her. 68
