Seaham Hall
Dating back to 1791, Seaham Hall is an immaculately restored Georgian country house with a five-star interior. Situated amidst 37 acres of landscaped gardens, its clifftop location offers gorgeous views over Durham’s heritage coastline. It’s also a wedding photographer’s paradise, with its crisp white exterior, swirling Vortex water feature, terrace and sprawling gardens.
When it’s time to tie the knot you can choose the striking Courtyard (80 guests), a two-storey atrium with vaulted glass ceiling and marble floors, or the Terrace (120 guests), a beautiful setting for a natural outdoor ceremony. Receptions are then held in the jaw-dropping Ballroom (100 guests) – located on the ground floor, its floor-to-ceiling Georgian windows afford spectacular views, along with an adjacent private bar for convenience.
