Matfen Hall Hotel
Set in Northumberland, Matfen Hall is a unique and historic venue that caters for no more than one wedding per day. Its private south facing Dutch Garden makes a beautiful area for a cocktail drinks reception in the warmer months, however, on a frosty day you can enjoy drinks in front of the venue’s log burning fire.
Ceremonies can be held in the Great Hall (120 guests), with its magnificent staircase and large feature fireplace, the Cloister courtyard (50 guests), complete with magical festoon-lit area, or the intimate setting of the Dutch Garden (12 guests). There’s also a choice of stylish rooms for your wedding breakfast, while your evening takes you to the Vault Bar and Cloister, historically the cellars of the original stately home and with space for up to 250.
