Lough House Farm is a brand new, exclusive-use wedding venue in Stannington just 12 miles north of Newcastle near Morpeth, Northumberland. Featuring a converted barn, bar, chill-out room, quirky corners for a powder room, cloak room or creative photographs, the private venue will be available to hire from August 2019. With enough outside space to let your imagination run wild you could include fairground rides, naked tipis or a silent disco under the stars...the possibilities are endless!

The venue is a blank canvas for you to provide your own tables, chairs and decoration. There is a recommended supplier list to help couples with furniture, bar staff and caterers.
A wedding planner is included to assist in your plans and help your day run perfectly. Perfect for weddings of 80 to 120 guests, but large enough to dine up to 190 in the barn and have the same for dancing.
At the moment the venue does not have a civil marriage license so your legal ceremony would need to be elsewhere. The venue can however accommodate a humanist ceremony.
The venue will only be hosting no more than 10 weddings per year so it is an exclusive place to have your day great for having somewhere different to your friends!
The venue hire of the barn, side room, bar area and outside is £3,400 for weddings up to and including 2020 dates. This is based on a 50 hour hire starting at 11am the day before the wedding until 1pm the day after eg. for Saturday weddings this is from 11am on Friday until 1pm on Sunday. This allows good time for set-up, deliveries, collections. Heating, lighting (as seen) and power are also included.
The services of an experienced wedding planner means you will get professional help with all your arrangements. As a guide, the barn can be fully furnished and dressed ready for your wedding from around £5,000.
